Jesus commanded and commissioned His disciples to preach the gospel and make disciples in every people group.

Church Planting

This is our main mission: To plant churches that plant churches.

We believe the church is the hope of the world. Jesus commanded and commissioned His disciples to preach the gospel and make disciples in every people group (Mt. 28:18-20). In the New Testament we see where groups of disciples assembled and were called churches. In every city where churches were formed the apostles would train leaders and name overseers to continue to teach and care for the congregation. The apostles repeated the process. They continued to plant churches in new areas, train leaders and name overseers (Acts 14:21-23). This is the task the church has been given. No other entity on earth has this responsibility. The church may not delegate this task to someone else.

This is our main mission: To plant churches that plant churches. These churches must be theologically and doctrinally sound congregations and self-sustaining in the following categories: 1). Discipleship 2). Governing 3). Financial 4). Multiplying

As exemplified in the New Testament, a local congregation is considered an established church when they are able to make disciples, govern themselves, cover their financial expenses and send out missionaries to plant an additional church.

Iglesia Radical, Playa Jacó is our first church plant. According to the criteria above we have not yet met our goal, but we are working towards establishing Iglesia Radical every day.

We have encountered many challenges in the church planting process. Perhaps the top two difficulties have been the development of a Biblical worldview in the lives of new believers and a sustainable process to train leaders. We believe the solutions to these issues are twofold: Begin a Christian School to educate children in God’s word from an early age… and a church-based Bible institute to train leaders for ministry.

Iglesia Radical

Radical Life Ministries first church plant located in Playa Jaco, Costa Rica

Today we have about 45 members and over 100 people in regular attendance at our church services. Each week we host youth group meetings for students ages 12 - 18 and dedicated children’s ministry during our Sunday services for infants through 12 years old. Older students are encouraged to enjoy the Sunday service with their family.
